Listening Will Make You the Ultimate Network Marketing Leader
Has
anyone ever listened to you with such lazer-focused attention
and respect that you felt completely understood...perhaps for
the first time in your life?
Sadly,
this kind of listening is rare. We listen more often than we use
any other communication skill, yet most of us have never had any
formal training in "effective listening."
Listening is one of the most important skills a network marketer
can learn. It is a prerequisite to all of the other skills
used in prospecting, selling, marketing and coaching. When done
skillfully, listening dramatically improves any business or personal
interaction.
Listening
on a deep level can make a profound impact on a prospect or downline
member. People are attracted to people who focus their attention
on them.
Think
back to those friends, teachers, family members and colleagues
who have had the biggest impact on your life. Chances are that
the people who have influenced you most throughout your life are
powerful listeners. They have taken the time to learn, practice
and master the skill of listening.
Unfortunately,
most network marketers have not taken the time to learn how to
properly listen in a way that attracts prospects/customers and
keeps leaders. (They're too busy making demands, expressing opinions,
"telling" and making judgments.)
The
ultimate network marketer is a trained coach who has learned
the art of listening at three different levels.
Learn
to master the art of listening on all three levels:
- Level
I: Internal Listening --
The attention is on us instead of the other person.
We listen to the words the other person is saying but our focus
is on what it means to us. At Level I, the focus is on me:
my thoughts, my judgements, my feelings, etc. The master networker
should never be listening at Level I when prospecting. Listening
with impact begins at Level II.
- Level
II: Focused Listening -- The attention is on the other
person. You are listening at Level II when you have lazer-focused
attention; you're interested in every word; you provide a level
of empathy and understanding; you clarify; you probe; you listen
for values, expressions, emotions; you discover what makes the
person energetic; and you notice how he (she) reacts to your responses.
As a network marketing leader you will want to listen to your
prospects and your sales organization at Level II. When you listen
like that, you become an irresistibly attractive network marketing
coach that beckons and keeps a solid sales organization.
- Level
III: The Ultimate Listening Skill -- Level III is listening
to another person at such a deep level, we pick up information
not only from what they're saying but also from what they're not
saying. We pick up information from the tone in their voices,
their pauses, their emotions and the energy that reveals itself,
and even in the interaction of the conversation itself. You are
aware of everything that is going on. You notice the force field
that begins to surround you at this deep level of communicating.
In
This 4-CD Program You Will Also Learn How To:

attention

with you because you're doing something very special (and rare)
for them: You are really listening to them at a very personal and
deep level.
Listening
is a skill that is learned...Imagine what an impact you can
have on your sales organization, your potential prospects and even
